Patrick C. Davidson
Rick Davidson is a native of Auburn, Alabama. Growing up in Auburn, Rick attended the Auburn City Schools and graduated from Auburn High School. Rick later graduated from Auburn University in 1990. Rick earned his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1994 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar that same year. After law school, Rick began practicing law with Sasser & Littleton in Montgomery, Alabama where he worked until 1997. Rick’s practice was primarily in the areas of banking law and insurance defense litigation, including defending automobile accident litigation, manufactured home litigation, and termite litigation. In 1997, Rick moved back to Auburn and joined the Walker, Hill, Adams, Umbach, Meadows & Walton firm and continued practicing law there until it evolved into the present firm in 2002. Rick has proudly been a partner at Adams, Umbach, Davidson & White since its inception in 2002. Rick’s practice focuses on municipal law, public school law, general litigation and trial practice, business and banking law, collections and real estate.
Rick is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the Lee County Bar Association, for which he served as Treasurer from 2004-2006. Since 2004, Rick has also been a member of the Alabama Law Foundation Board of Trustees. He also serves on the Lee County Indigent Defense Commission having been previously appointed to this Commission by presiding Circuit Judge of the Thirty-Seventh Judicial Circuit in Alabama, Jacob A. Walker, III. Rick is a charter member of the Atticus Finch Society.
Rick and his wife Kelly, along with their three boys, Walker, Luker, and Patrick, are members of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Rick is also Secretary of the Auburn Youth Tackle Football Association and is actively involved in coaching youth sports in Auburn. Rick enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and canoeing, but he especially appreciates the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon pursuing the bobwhite quail.
