Christine B. Dean

Mrs. Christine Bryan Dean is originally from Lanett, Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in political science and a double minor in mathematics and history. Christine was named the Distinguished Undergraduate Scholar at the University of Alabama. She was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Christine received her Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in 1999. Christine was the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. While in law school, Christine served as Comment Editor for the Cumberland Law Review, and as a Cordell Hull Teaching Fellow. Christine was named a member of Curia Honoris. Christine received eleven Scholar of Merit Awards, and also received the Legal Research and Writing Award.

Prior to joining the firm in 2004, Christine served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ira DeMent, III, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Alabama and served three years as Staff Attorney to the Honorable Joel F. Dubina, United States Circuit Judge for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Christine concentrates her practice in the areas of appellate law and motion law. She is married to Brent Dean, and they are the proud parents of four sons.
