Blake L. Oliver
Blake is originally from Dothan, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree in political science, cum laude, from Auburn University, and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, Blake received two Scholar of Merit Awards and served as Research Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. Prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2004, Blake served as a law clerk for the Honorable J. Gorman Houston, Jr., Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court.
Blake concentrates his practice in the area of litigation, primarily defense litigation. He also assists with writing the firm’s motions and appeals, and represents numerous banks and other corporations in a wide array of transactions, including commercial lending, real estate transactions, and commercial and residential leasing.
Blake is married to Beth Berry Oliver of Montgomery and they have one son, Davis. Outside of the office Blake enjoys traveling and fishing.
